The Toe Tag video is designed for safety instructors, injury prevention counselors, driving school instructors and parents.

It shows teens how distracted driving has become a major cause of traffic crashes, injuries and fatalities. It's the work of an Arizona educational non-profit, the Toe Tag Foundation, Inc.

Across the USA some 43,000 people of all ages die in over six million crashes each year. Over half of these involved driver distraction. You know what these are:

• Using cell phones or texting while driving
• Grooming, doing makeup while driving
• Eating & drinking while driving
• Too many teen passengers in the car
• Loud music, adjusting iPods, radios, electronic gadgets
• Taking eyes off the road

Toe Tag shows teens what distractions are...the dangers they pose...and how to avoid becoming distracted.

Is this one of those 1950's grisly, gorey videos parents might have seen in high school driver's ed? Not at all. The Toe Tag movie, running about 30 minutes, is a professionally produced video now being used by driver's ed training schools, chapters of the National Safety Council, Cox Communications and various state universities.
